Advice
Commissioning: the Ecolift can be
placed into operation even if there is
a problem with the batteries – the
alarm notification can be acknowled-
ged
Operation: The battery fault alarm
will sound within 5 minutes. The sy-
stem is fully operational. Manual
operation is also possible.
This error will only be detected in ope-
rational mode (see Section 8.2 'Addi-
tional Functions')
Commissioning: Commissioning is not
possible with this error
Operation: The error will be detected
during backwater or by manually ac-
tivating a test cycle on the control unit
The optical sensor cable is automa-
tically checked every 2 seconds
Attention: check backwater flap
operation lever! In the case that
the motorized backwater flap can-
not fully close, the Ecolift will per-
form 3 flap closure attempts in an
effort to dislodge any obstruction
that may be preventing the flap
from fully closing. If any of these 3
attempts are successful, then the
Ecolift will return to normal operati-
on and no alarm warnings will
sound. If these 3 attempts are not
successful then an alarm will
sound – this alarm can be acknow-
ledged by pressing the correct but-
ton on the control unit. Allowing
wastewater to drain through the
Ecolift may also help dislodge any
obstruction. Pressing the flap clo-
sure button can test to see if the
flap can now fully close. In the case
that the obstruction has not been
cleared then the alarm will activate
again and the object will need to be
removed as discussed below.
Lifespan of motor has been ex-
ceeded
Backwater flap is closing too often
in short periods of time
