1. Battery
2. Holding strap

Battery Cleaning
Clean battery, battery casing and bat-
tery posts using a solution of baking
soda and water.
Remove corrosion from battery cable
terminals and battery posts using a
firm wire brush.
Battery casing should be cleaned by
soft brush and baking soda solution.
Battery Installation
Reinstall battery in vehicle.
CAUTION Always
RED (+) cable first, then BLACK (-)
cable.

Fuses

Fuse Inspection
CAUTION Always turn the ig-
nition switch to OFF position before
replacing a defective fuse.
If a fuse is damaged, replace it by one
of the same rating.
NOTICE
Do not use a higher rated
fuse as this can cause severe dam-
age.
Check if filament is melted.

Fuses Location
Fuses are located in the front service
compartment and at the rear near bat-
tery.

F1: ECM (5 A)
F2: Fan (20 A)
F3: ECM (7.5 A)
F4: Gauge, taillight, diagnostic (7.5 A)
F5: Fuel pump (7.5 A)
F6: Accessories (20 A)
NOTICE
in the front service compartment.
