VEHICLE IDENTIFICATION

The main components of your vehicle
(engine and frame) are identified us-
ing different serial numbers. It may
sometimes become necessary to lo-
cate these numbers for warranty pur-
poses or to trace your vehicle in the
event of loss. These numbers are also
required by the authorized Can-Am
distributor/dealer to complete war-
ranty claims properly. No warranty
will be allowed by BRP if the engine
identification number (EIN) or vehicle
identification number (VIN) is removed
or mutilated or altered in any way. We
strongly recommend that you take
note of all the serial numbers on your
vehicle and supply them to your insur-
ance company.
