The TD100 system was designed so that the sensor cable can be installed around the entire
perimeter and then TD100 and SUMA units added after installing where they are needed to
meet soil conditions or site infrastructure locations with its in-line processing design.

Dig two parallel trenches from the TD100 Processor to the Start-Up Module Assembly (SUMA)
location; see
Figure
27. The outdoor TD100 enclosure has two pairs of knockouts 3.175 cm
(1.25 in) / 3.81 cm (1.5 in) for conduits on the bottom side to feed the TX lead-in cable(s) in one
and the RX lead-in cable(s) in the other. It is important to keep the TX and RX cables in
separate conduits.
