ness is cut or frayed.
• When the child car seat is not in use, it should
be left secured to the car seat or stowed in
the boot. An unsecured car seat may pose
a hazard to passengers in the event of acci-
dents or sudden braking.
• Do not transport loose or unsecured objects
or baggage on the back shelf of the vehicle:
they may injure passengers in the event of
accidents or sudden braking.
• Check that the car seat headrest does not in-
terfere with that of the child car seat: it must
not push it forward. If this happens, remove
the headrest from the car seat to which the
child car seat is fixed, making sure not to
leave it on the parcel shelf.
• Ensure that all car passengers fasten their
seat belts, for their own safety and also be-
cause, during the journey, they may injure
the child in the event of an accident or the
sudden braking of the car.
• On long journeys make frequent stops. Children
get tired easily. Do not remove the child from the
child car seat while travelling. If your child needs
attention, find a safe place and stop.
