Middle ramp*
The centre ramp is used for loading and unloading tricycles, trailers with a support wheel or
vehicles with a very narrow track. By extending or pulling out the centre ramp, a continuous
ramp is created across almost the entire width of the platform.

•
When the centre ramp (2) is deactivated, the operating handle (1) is turned to the left
(as shown). The standard ramps can be used as described under
tipping platform", page 21
•
To activate the centre ramp (2), the side ramps must be fully retracted. If the centre
ramp (2) is activated with the drive-up ramps partially or fully extended, the actuating
mechanism only engages when the centre ramp is fully retracted.
•
The centre ramp (2) is activated by turning the operating handle (1) 180°
anticlockwise as far as it will go.
•
The centre ramp (2) now extends and retracts synchronously with the side ramps.
•
To deactivate the centre ramp, the drive-up and centre ramps must be fully retracted.
The operating handle (1) must be turned clockwise by 180° until it is against the stop.
•
The centre ramp is thus deactivated and locked in the retracted position.
The centre ramp must be fully retracted when deactivated. If the
centre ramp is deactivated when drive-up and centre ramps are
are not fully retracted, functional failures and damage to the actuating
mechanism may occur.
