4.1.7 Unloading without winch*

Get into the loaded vehicle!
Unintentional rolling back or acceleration of the vehicle to be
unloaded!
Secure the unloading point
Before unloading, check again that the parking brake is applied on the loaded vehicle
and that the lowest gear is engaged or, in the case of an automatic gearbox, that the
selector lever is in the P position.
Loosen the safety belts.
Remove the rear wheel stop.
Extend the drive-up ramps and tip up the plateau

Drive the vehicle to be unloaded completely down from the plateau. If visibility to the
rear is obstructed, a guide may be required.

Tilt the plateau and retract

Fall from the plateau.
°If necessary, open the driver's door of the loaded vehicle
from the ground before tipping it up.
Only enter the plateau when it is tilted up and from behind.
°When entering the loaded vehicle, hold on to the handholds
provided in the area of the driver's door, on the door frame or
on the roof.
People can be hit or run over.
° During unloading, no persons are allowed on the plateau, the
ramps or behind the car transporter.

The vehicle to be unloaded may fall off the ramps or the plateau.
Drive the vehicle straight from the car transporter, call in a
guide if necessary.
