4 Operation and use
control system
The light of the buttons (6-11) on the side control panel goes off when the remote
control is active.
If you want to switch back to manual control, press the manual control button (4). The
following description in this section refers to operation with the manual control.
Operation with the remote control makes sense.
All buttons (6-11) on the hand control panel must remain pressed while the function
is activated. If the button is released, the function stops. Always release the buttons
when the selected function has reached its end position and no further movement
can be detected.
Fully extend the ramps with the ramps off button (8) until the end position is reached
and the movement stops. The drive-up ramps hang down by approx. 10° in the end
position. The flexible suspension of the ramps can compensate for uneven floors.
Next, the plateau can be tilted up by pressing the button Plateau up (10). The tipping
process stops automatically as soon as the tipping sensors at the rear lower end of
the plateau touch the ground. Alternatively, if the vehicle is on uneven ground and the
tilt scissors are at the stop before the tilt sensors reach the ground, the sensor end
position tilt scissors stops the tipping.
The vehicle can then be loaded or unloaded and secured, (see
4.1.4 "Securing the loaded vehicle" to 4.1.9
cargo bed" ).
For loading or unloading with the cable winch*, the cable can be
unwound with the button unwind cable winch (6) and wound up with the button wind
up cable winch (7).
The plateau is tilted down with the button Plateau down (11). Make sure that at the end
of the tilting process the tilting shear moves over the dead centre and pulls the plateau
down safely. This process is associated with an audible click, which should be
perceived by the operator.
You can then fully retract the ramps with the Ramps in button (9).
As soon as the plateau and the ramps are in driving position again, the body
functions can be deactivated with the main button (1). Alternatively, the body
functions deactivate themselves when the parking brake is released (immediately) or
the ignition is switched off (approx. 60 sec. follow-up time).
Driving with the plateau not fully tilted or the ramps not fully
retracted!

(see "remote control*", page 41).
Damage may occur to the plateau, the tipping scissors, the slide-in
units or the drive-up ramps.
Flowing traffic could be endangered.
°The plateau must always be fully tipped and the ramps fully
retracted before driving off.
