3 Description
•
By means of the cable winch*, the vehicle to be transported can be pulled over the
drive-up ramps onto the plateau during loading.
•
An adjustable wheel stopper and a railing serve to secure the load.
•
For an increased payload, the car transporter is equipped with a tandem chassis
from our own production at the rear. The original rear axle of the basic vehicle is
integrated into the chassis as a second axle.
•
For empty runs, the third axle can be lifted as an option.
•
Optimum driving comfort thanks to air suspension on the rear axles.
3.3 Purpose of use
The car transporter is intended exclusively for the transport of motor vehicles up to
the permissible total weight of the car transporter.
All safety regulations must be observed, and all safety-relevant values must be complied
with in accordance with the respective technical data.
Any other use beyond this is considered improper. EDER is not liable for any damage
resulting from this.
Intended use also includes compliance with the maintenance obligation

3.4

Foreseeable misuse

EDER is not liable for personal injury or property damage caused by
misuse.
Misapplications include, but are not limited to, the following actions/applications:
•
transporting people and/or animals
•
transporting objects/goods that are not
•
loading with too high a payload
•
driving with poorly/unsecured load
•
exceeding the maximum permitted speed
•
driving at inappropriate speed in poor weather conditions
•
driving with apparent parts wear
•
driving in a damaged condition
•
driving with defective lighting
•
driving with the load platform tilted
•
using the cargo bed as a lifting device
•
exceeding the max. drawbar load or the trailer load
