� Check the point images at 30 cm-position. If the shape of the point images is largely blurry (as if flowed)

as shown in "Image 1", make a coarse adjustment based on the following:
1) If the rubber ring is attached to the zoom ring, remove the rubber ring.
2) Set the zoom ring to "300 mm", and focus ring to around "∞". Then adjust so that the adjusting screws of the
2nd lens-G holding tube can be seen through the adjustment holes.
3) By referring to the below "Adjustment location", specify the adjustment location(s). Then rotate the adjusting
screw clockwise with a Hexagonal wrench (1.27 mm-diameter) through the three adjustment hole(s). (Adjust
the rotation according to a level of image blur.）
4）Again, shoot the chart by "Focusing" of the adjustment software, and repeat 3) and 4) until the shape of point
images become like "Image 2".
Adjustment location:
If the point image of the 1st or 2nd quadrant is blurred, rotate the adjusting screw that can be seen through
"A" hole of "Fig.1".
If the point image of the 3rd quadrant is blurred, rotate the adjusting screw that can be seen through "B"
hole of "Fig.1". If the point image of the 4th quadrant is blurred, rotate the adjusting screw that can be seen
through "C" hole of "Fig.1".
Caution 1: If the adjusting screw is turned through approx. every 90° clockwise and if the shape of point image
becomes worse, do NOT turn any more. In this case, put the hexagonal wrench into other adjusting-
holes to make an adjustment.
Caution 2: Do NOT turn the adjusting screw counterclockwise.
