4.35 Display Cover

The removal and installation of this part is covered in the flip disassembly and reassembly
procedures. If the display cover is the only part being replaced, only a portion of the disassembly
and reassembly instructions needs to be performed. When replacing this part only, perform
sections 3.1.2 - 3.1.3 of the flip disassembly to remove this part and perform sections 3.2.2 –
3.2.3 of the flip reassembly to install a new part. Before installing the new display cover, transfer
the two gaming keys from the old part to the new one. Refer to the "Gaming Keys" section for
detailed instructions on removing and reinstalling the gaming keys.

Gaming Key Removal

Perform sections 3.1.2 - 3.1.3 of the flip disassembly
1. Orient the display cover so that its inner surface is
towards you.
2. Using style 2A tweezers, catch a hold of the soft
rubber portion of the gaming key that is being
removed and lift the key from its opening in the
display cover.
