5. Rotate the portion of the display flex film that was
just detached so that it is planar with the rest of the
display flex film as shown.
6. Using a pry tool, detach from the display carrier the
portion of the display flex film that contains the cable
connections.
7. While holding the loose portion of the display flex
film away from the display carrier, dislodge the LCD
assembly's flex film from its connector on the display
flex film.
8. Push the LCD assembly's flex film through its slot in
the display carrier until the sides of the LCD
assembly are accessible enough so that the LCD
assembly can be gripped along its sides.
9. Pull the LCD assembly away from the display carrier
until the two assemblies are completely separated.
