4.22 Keypad

The removal and installation of this part is covered in the base disassembly and reassembly
procedures. To remove this part, perform sections 2.1.1 - 2.1.3 of the base disassembly, but limit
the amount of steps of section 2.1.3 preformed to only that which is needed to remove the
keypad. To install this part, perform the portion of section 2.2.2 of the base reassembly that is
needed and sections 2.2.3 - 2.2.4 of the base reassembly. If this part is being replaced, a new part
should be used in the place of the old part when performing the reassembly instructions.

Removal of Cable Assemblies

Perform sections 2.1.1 - 2.1.3 of the Base Disassembly Procedure
•
Perform section 3.1.1 of the Flip Disassembly Procedure
Tools needed:

1. Remove the four screws that mount the hinge
assembly to the display carrier using a torque
screwdriver and a JCIS No. 0 bit.
NOTE! Do not reuse these screws.
2. Lift the hinge assembly from the flip and hold it out
of the way.
