LCD Assembly Removal

Tools needed:

Perform sections 2.1.1 - 2.1.3 of the Base Disassembly Procedure
•
Perform sections 3.1.1 - 3.1.4 of the Flip Disassembly Procedure
1. Locate the LCD assembly's connection to the display
flex film assembly.
2. Rotate the edge of the connector that is closest to the
receiver towards the LCD's flex film using a pry tool
so that the rotated edge is 120 degrees from its
original position.
3. Using a pry tool, detach the camera key portion of the
display flex film from the display carrier.
4. Using a pry tool, detach the portion of the display flex
film that contains the navigation keypad dome foil.
