In a network that assigns IP addresses automatically, the camera's IP address may change from time to
time. To keep this from happening, set the IP address to Static. Do not change the IP address, subnet
mask, gateway, or DNS server unless the network administrator instructs you to do so.

Specifying a DNS Server

When the camera is set to use a static IP address, the DNS Server field becomes editable. Do not edit this
field unless the network administrator instructs you to do so.
