Replacing
Procedure to replace one cell inside the plant.
the cell
When a cell is replaced within a system consisting of more than one digital cell,
the indicator detects the change and displays an error (-07-). This error can be
corrected using the cell replacement procedure. It consists in recalculating, by
internal operation, the coefficient of the replaced cell using the immediately
opposite cell as reference. The slope for the replaced cell can be calculated
without repeating the calibration for all the other cells.
The first operation to do is data acquisition with the scale unloaded (dead load).
Place the load on the replaced cell and then on the opposite cell shown by the
indicator and confirm by pressing the appropriate keys. At the end of the
procedure press Confirm to save the data. The data is automatically saved in the
indicator and in the digital cells; just go back to the main page to view the weight
again.
Cell
Allows viewing the data stored on the cells and in the Scale board. Using the
Coefficients
'Copy from Scale to Cells' button it is possible to overwrite the data inside the cells
with the data on the scale board. With the 'Copy from Cells to Scale' button it is
possible to overwrite the data on the Scale board with the data on the cells.
Confirm to save the data.
!!ATTENTION!! If the instrument is not approved, it is possible to manually correct
the slopes on the Scale board. (consider the min and max values when using this
method)
SYNCHRONISE
In an analogue system the calibration parameters and configuration data of the scale are stored on
the scale board. The software on the core also creates a copy of these data and saves it in the
system folders. Therefore, in case of replacement of one of the two parts, it is possible to retrieve the
scale data. In case of digital system, in addition to the two parts mentioned above, data relating to
sampling only are stored in the load cells. For data synchronisation, follow the instructions below:

DD1010 FLYNET
the indicator shows a message of incorrect angle
calibration.
It allows restoring the previous parameters in case of scale board
replacement. It retrieves the data from the System/scales folder and
saves them inside the scale board.
It updates the serial number of the board on the indicator.
It aligns the serial number of the scale board on the indicator with the
number on the scale board.
It allows retrieving calibration parameters from the cells, and saving
them in the indicator
It allows transferring calibration parameters from the indicator to the
cells.
