6.4. System Commands

6.4.1. Querying the Product Name

Command and Response
ç GET•/.ProductName
pr•/.ProductName=<Product_name>

Parameters
The <Product_name>isthetypeofthedevice:read-onlyparameterandcannotbemodified.
Example
ç GET/.ProductName

6.4.2. Setting the Device Label

Unique name can be set which will be visible when the given device is listed in the built-in web page of other
VINX devices. Furthermore, the name is listed when browsing the client list of a DHCP server.

ATTENTION!
This property is a writable parameter and not the same as the ProductName.

The extender can be restarted; the current connections (RS-232, USB, etc...) will be terminated.

6.4.6. Restoring the Factory Default Settings
