13. Remove the two pinch bolts from the deck drive shaft.
14. Slide the deck drive shaft off the gear box.
15. Remove the deck lift links from the four corners of the deck.
16. Using assistance, remove the jack stands from the rear and slowly tip the front of the machine back until rear
bumper makes contact with the ground. Secure the front of the machine with an overhead hoist (Figure 17).

WARNING
Hands and feet could get pinched or caught, causing
personal injury. Keep bystanders away from the
machine.
CAUTION
Once the deck lift links are removed, the front end of
the machine may become unbalanced. Secure the rear
of the machine with jack stands.
