PROBLEM
Bottom of slide-out not flush
with vehicle body.
Top of slide-out not flush with
vehicle body.
Lower edge of slide- out not
parallel with vehicle body
opening.
Water tightness problem.
Knocking sound at end of
travel when extending slide-
out.
Knocking sound when parking
brake is released.
Inflatable seal damaged or
removed,
or
wiper
unstuck from the structure.
CAUSE
Broken or misadjusted lower "in
limit" stopper;
Lower "in limit" stoppers are not
leaning against the structure at
the moment when the "in limit"
sensor detects the magnet;
Broken or misadjusted leveling
or retaining screw;
Faulty upper "in limit" stopper;
Faulty leveling and retaining
screw (4 screws on each side).
Inflatable seal and/or wiper seal
damaged or unstuck;
Insufficient air pressure in the
seal;
No air pressure in the slide-out
pneumatic system;
Sealant missing;
Wiper
seal
draining
clogged;
Faulty water recovery pan;
Faulty internal gutter;
Inner stoppers not adjusted
properly;
Security pin retracts too rapidly; Adjust security pin air flow regulator.
Slide-out has been retracted or
extended

CORRECTIVE ACTION
Replace or adjust lower "in limit" stopper.
Adjust the sensor position in order to have
contact of the stoppers against the structure
when slide-out is stopped.
Check and replace screw.
Replace upper "in limit" stopper.
Inspect screws, replace and adjust slide-out
level.
Check both seals condition.
Check the pressure regulator, the relieving
shut-off valve and the seal valve condition.
Check the slide-out air pressure inlet valve
condition and the accessory air tank pressure.
Check the exterior extrusion screws, the
windows and the exterior panels sealant
condition

Unclog draining hole.
Check the recovery pan.
Check internal gutter.
Readjust the inner stoppers.

Always deflate the seal when manually
retracting or extending the slide-out.

Check the pressure transducer condition,
replace if necessary.
Check the seal valve condition.
Reduce load or distribute load evenly in order
to respect the deflection criterion and slide-out
load capacity.
Readjust the slide- out height and center
horizontally in opening.
