9.1.2 Calibrate the radEAGLET-R
Usually the calibration and stabilization of the radEAGLET-R happens during startup and
continuously while using it. If you want to explicitly start a calibration with a reference nuclide,
several methods are available. A more elaborate method is described in chapter 5.18, p. 76.
Here we use an automated calibration procedure.

To calibrate the radEAGLET-R...
1. Move to a low-radiation environment.
2. If your radEAGLET-R has no calibration source built-in, place a source in front of the
detector, for example, the KCl box included with the instrument.
