Types of Terminals

The SmartCom VT software can run with 2 main types of display Terminals.
ISOBUS Terminals With Buttons
ISO Terminals with physical function buttons, e.g. the shown Massey
Ferguson terminal.
• Conventional or touch screen and physical buttons.
• Function buttons are graphical but are operated by physical
buttons on the terminal.
• The software runs as a Virtual Terminal (VT) into the terminal
software.
ISOBUS Terminals Without Buttons
HARDI HC 8600/8700, HC 9600/9700 or similar ISO terminals with
touchscreen interface. The HC 8600 is shown here.
• Touchscreen and no buttons (except ON/OFF).
• Function buttons are graphical and operated by pressing the
touch screen.
• The SmartCom software runs as a Virtual Terminal (VT) into the
Terminal software. This is called Universal Terminal (UT) at the
HARDI HC 8600 and HC 9600 Terminals.
