STAND-BY mode

4.2.1 " SELF TEST " phase

•
Set the main switch (placed on the back of the trolley/lung ventilator) in position "I"
(ON): lung ventilator switch power ON.
•
Make sure that on the lung ventilator keyboard
(commands area), the green led (that indicates
the presence of mains power supply) is on.
•
Hold the ON-OFF key for few seconds to start the
lung ventilator.

" SELF TEST " phase. Close the patient circuit.
"SELF TEST" phase.
During " SELF TEST " phase, the lung ventilator software carries out the
self-diagnostic tests and checks a series of devices necessary for safe
operation of the lung ventilator.
For more information on the "SELF TEST" please refer to the cfr. 3.5.2.
The lung ventilator turns ON and
the automatic " SELF TEST "
phase begins.
•
Functioning check and status
of turbine (operative function
NOT present - Absent ).
•
Check of the Oxygen / Air inlet
pressure.
