If you cannot use a mechanical lift to install the router (the preferred method), you can
install it manually.
Before installing the router manually:
Read the safety information in

Remove the router from the shipping container as described in

Install the mounting hardware as described in

CAUTION:
If you are installing two or three routers in one rack, install the
lowest one first. Installing a router in the upper position in a rack or cabinet
requires a lift.
CAUTION:
Before front mounting the router in a rack, have a qualified
technician verify that the rack is strong enough to support the router's weight
and is adequately supported at the installation site.
CAUTION:
Lifting the chassis and mounting it in a rack requires three people.
The empty chassis weighs approximately 110 lb (49 kg).
