Wear a mask and eye protection

To avoid getting powder in the eyes under the
contact lenses, the person wearing such contact
lenses must take them off.
A powder jet accidentally directed into
the eye can cause severe ocular injury. During
treatment, we strongly advise to all persons
concerned dentist, hygienist, patient, to wear
eye protection.
To limit the risk of bacterial or viral infec-
tions and the powder inhalation, we recommend
to the dentist and the hygienist to wear a safety
mask of protection.
The contact lenses or glasses of the pa-
tient may get dirty during the treatment. We
recommend to take them off.

Pour éviter la présence de poudre entre l'oeil et la
lentille, le porteur de lentilles doit les enlever.
Un jet de poudre malencontreusement
dirigé dans l'oeil peut provoquer une blessure
oculaire grave. Au cours du traitement, nous
conseillons vivement à toutes les personnes
concernées - dentiste, hygiéniste, patient - de
porter des lunettes de protection.
Pour limiter le risque d'infections bacté-
riennes ou virales et l'inhalation de poudre, nous
conseillons au dentiste et à l'hygiéniste de porter
un masque de protection.
Les verres correcteurs et les lentilles de
contact du patient risquent d'être souillés au
cours du traitement. Nous recommandons de
les enlever.

Mundschutz und Schutzbrille tragen

Kontaktlinsenträger müssen ihre Linsen entfer-
nen, da die Gefahr besteht, dass Pulver in die
Augen hinter die Kontaktlinse gelangt.
Ein unabsichtlich auf die Augen gerichteter
Pulverstrahl kann zu schweren Verletzungen an
den Augen führen. Wir raten allen beteiligten
Personen - Zahnarzt, ZA-Helferinnen, Patien-
ten - während der Behandlung unbedingt eine
Schutzbrille zu tragen.
Um bakteriellen oder viralen Infektionen
und Einatmen von Pulver zu vermeiden, emp-
fehlen wir Zahnarzt und Zahnarzt-helferinnen,
einen Mundschutz zu tragen.
Patienten mit Brille- oder Kontaktlinsen
sollten diese ab- bzw. herausnehmen, da Brille
und Kontaktlinsen während der Behandlung
verunreinigt werden können.
