TROUBLESHOOTING
Type of problem
Water comes into the powder chamber
or leaks from the cap
No powder/air jet coming from the
unit
Air and/or powder is leaking from the
threads of the cap
The unit efficiency diminishes

Solutions
• Check the dental unit connection
• Check the state of the o-rings of the turbine connection
• Clean the cap and the powder chamber
• Clean the handpiece
• Connect the unit to the dental unit (be careful, the powder chamber must be empty)
• Check the quality of the spray
• Fill the powder chamber
• Send the unit to an approved EMS repair center
• Cut immediately the air input relensing the foot pedal
• Wait for 1-2 minutes for the system to decompress
• Disconnect the unit from the dental unit
• Press the foot control pedal of the dental unit
• If no air comes out for the turbine connector, it is your dental unit that causes the problem
• If air comes out, it is the device that causes the problem
• Unscrew the cap with the top of the wash-hand basin, bus of the powder can be ejected. A sealed appara-
tus, even disconnected, can indeed remain under pressure
• Empty the powder chamber and screw the cap back on
• Connect the unit to the dental unit (be careful, the powder chamber must be empty)
• Connect the handpiece to the unit
• Press the foot control pedal of the dental unit
• If air comes through the handpiece connector, the handpiece is blocked. Clean the handpiece
• If no air comes out of the handpiece connector, the unit is blocked
• Send the unit to an approved EMS repair center
• Check the seal and the cleanliness of the thread on the powder chamber and on the cap
• Replace the seal if necessary
• A powder refill is perhaps necessary
• Clean the handpiece
• Send the unit to an approved EMS repair center
