Impression
on polystyrene disc

Place the model (impression or plaster cast) on the
polystyrene disc so that the model faces the sensor
and proceed as follows:
Planmeca ProMax 3D s X-ray units:
The volume diameter is 50 mm (2 in.). Use the
positioning joystick to adjust the volume center
lights so that they cross in the middle of your
area of interest. Refer to section 9.8.2 "Moving
image volume horizontally (X and Y lasers)" on
page 44 for details.
Planmeca ProMax 3D Classic X-ray units:
Position the model so that the distance between
the front edge of the model and the volume
center cross is 40 mm (1.6 in.).
