PTC-1800 Product Reference Guide

Overview

The VoiceAlert application uses voice-over-IP
technology to allow the PTC-1800's user to talk and
listen to other users within specified VoiceAlert
groups. The PTC-1800s in each group must be
properly configured and running the VoiceAlert
application. Only configured members of the group
will be able to hear the transmitted message and be
able to communicate with the originator of the
message.

Setting up the VoiceAlert application

This section provides instructions for setting up the
PTC-1800's VoiceAlert application.

Adjusting the speaker volume

1. Press the Push-to-Talk button to activate the
VoiceAlert application after it is loaded from the
main menu. The VoiceAlert screen displays. See
Figure 16.
