Operating the PTC-1800

Turning on the PTC-1800

To turn on the PTC-1800 initially, press the On/Off
key.
If the PTC-1800 is in suspend, you can wake it by
pressing the On/Off key or one of the Scan keys.
If the PTC-1800 is in ship mode, you cold boot it by
pressing the On/Off key.

Turning off the PTC-1800

Press the On/Off key to suspend the PTC-1800.
Suspending the PTC-1800 saves power and allows the
unit to resume operation exactly where it left off. It
also terminates any active telephone call(s). Be sure
to save all files as a precaution before suspending.
In addition, the PTC-1800 suspends automatically if it
has not been used for approximately 1 min.
