Instead of holding down and
releasing the Push-to-Talk button to
talk and listen, you can press the
Send and End keys, respectively.

5. Hold down the Push-to-Talk button and speak
into the microphone on the PTC-1800 or an
attached headset.
6. Release the Push-to-Talk button when you are
finished talking.

Receiving a broadcast message

The PTC-1800 will beep and/or vibrate (depending on
how your PTC-1800 was configured) to alert you to an
incoming broadcast message. Place your ear near the
PTC-1800's speaker and listen to the incoming
message.
