Storing spare battery packs

Length of time

The Lithium-ion battery pack cannot be stored
indefinitely. It will self discharge and eventually
become inoperable. To prevent this, charge the
battery pack at least every six months.

Environment

Store your lithium-ion batteries in a cool, dry, well-
ventilated, and weatherproof location where the
temperature is –4 to 104° (–20 to 40 C°).
