Description
Glows or blinks to indicate the status of
the PTC-1800, the laser scanner, and the
recharging process. (See Appendix C for
an interpretation of the Status LED.)
Supports simple beeps and verbal audio
responses. The volume can be adjusted
via the PTC-1800's application programs.
This 1/8 VGA transflective monochrome
liquid crystal display (LCD) screen
displays data entered into the PTC-1800
and may show prompts, error messages,
and other information.
Consists of 25 keys that can be used to
enter data or perform specific functions.
The Push-to-Talk key is considered the
25th key. (See Table 2 for a description of
each key's default function.)
Enables you to connect a headset to the
PTC-1800 for hands-free talking.
Supports voice input.
Activates the VoiceAlert application (if
installed) and allows you to send a
broadcast message.
For wireless LAN communication.
