The PTC will not vibrate when it

11. Press the Send key to save the alert settings.

Locking the keyboard

The PTC's keyboard can be locked to prevent
accidental key presses. Follow the instructions below
to lock the keyboard.
1. At the Home screen, press the SK1 key. The
Main Menu displays (see Figure 6).
2. Press the Down arrow key until Settings is
highlighted.
3. Press the Send key. A new menu appears.
4. Press the Down arrow key until Key Lock is
highlighted.
5. Press the Send key. The keyboard is now locked.
Unlocking the keyboard
Follow the instructions below to unlock the PTC-
1800's keyboard.
1. Press one of the PTC-1800's keys. The following
message displays:
Keys Locked
Press 'Unlock' then '5'
