Configuring the Avaya XT Telepresence
Before you begin
Access the Avaya XT Telepresence web interface on the master endpoint.
Procedure
1. From the XT Series web interface, select Make your Call > Contacts > New Favorite.
2. Configure the settings as described in
3. Click Save and go back.
4. Click Edit next to the new favorite entry that you just added.
5. Change the Contact Type from Person/Room to Meeting Call.
6. Click Save.
7. Click Edit > Edit next to the default number.
8. Change the label from Office to Slave 1. Alternatively, you can type any name that refers to
the lefthand device from

9. Click Save.
10. Click New Number and add a number for the master device (the righthand device from
Figure 62: Duplet with single slave and master

11. Click Save.
12. (Optional) If the remote telepresence instance is a triplet, click New Number again and
add a number for slave 2 (the righthand device from
master

The number associated with the telepresence
instance. This can be an IP address or E.164/SIP
