About Avaya XT Telepresence
In deployments with the Scopia Elite MCU, you can moderate your meetings by inviting participants,
muting other participants and terminating the meeting.
Avaya XT Telepresence comprises of three XT Series systems (sold separately), which are installed
and calibrated specifically for telepresence. When you register the XT Series systems, you receive a
telepresence license which enables the telepresence feature as well as support for Avaya
Collaboration Control, an Apple
Telepresence platform.
Before purchasing the Avaya XT Telepresence platform, make sure you have the following
components:
• Three XT Series systems, each with its XT Codec Unit, camera, microphone and the XT
Remote Control Unit.
• Equinox Management with build-in Avaya Equinox H.323 Gatekeeper installed on a server.
• Three identical 50"-65" monitors of the same vendor, model and size to display the participants,
and an extra monitor or projector for displaying presentations.
• Audio amplifier and speakers
• An Apple iPad with Avaya Collaboration Control installed.
The Avaya XT Telepresence package includes the following components:
• A bracket for mounting cameras
• A disc containing the calibration application for versions prior to 3.2.
• Three XT Series customer letters containing product keys for each of the XT Series systems
• Scopia Desktop Server license for 10 ports.
