Setting up the Telepresence Room

Requirement
Lighting
Use indirect lighting to ensure soft, evenly distributed ambient light. The light fixtures should
be located slightly to the side of the monitors and tables.
Use fluorescent bulbs with electronic ballast that provide a color temperature of
3500K-4100K, ideally 4000K-4100K. The brightness reflected off a participant's face must
be at least 300 lux.
Network
Install a network switch and a wi-fi router in the room. Ensure there are three wired gigabit
connections
ethernet (RJ-45 UTP) connections close to the location of the XT Codec Units.
Ensure there is a wireless connection for Avaya Collaboration Control running on an iPad.
To offer participants the option to browse the network to find presentations saved on a
server, install LAN connections within easy reach of any participant.
