The Avaya XT Telepresence appears on the Endpoints tab. The telepresence icon
indicates that the type of the endpoint is telepresence. The Dialing Info field shows the
E.164, the URI or the IP address of the primary component of the telepresence system.

Preparing for your Telepresence Meeting

You can prepare for your telepresence meeting by following a number of guidelines to optimize
your telepresence experience:
• If you are using a laptop during a telepresence meeting, do not place it too close to the
microphone pods. Noise produced by the laptop cooling system may be increased by the
microphones and aggravate the quality of audio in the meeting.
• Avoid using your cellular phones during your telepresence meeting to avoid EMI
(electromagnetic interference).
• If you are in a dual-row telepresence room, ensure you are not in the blind spot. See
