4. Check the naming conventions for components comprising your Avaya XT Telepresence in
Placing Components of Your Avaya XT Telepresence
5. Make sure you have downloaded the calibration application as described in
and Installing the Avaya XT Telepresence Calibration Application
6. Ensure you have the Advanced XT Remote Control Unit.
Procedure
1. Bring a laptop with the calibration application into your telepresence room.
2. Connect the laptop to the same network to which the Avaya XT Telepresence is connected.
3. Turn the all three units in Avaya XT Telepresence, or press any button on the remote to
wake the system, if it is in the screensaver mode.
4. If you downloaded the calibration application to a USB drive, insert it into the USB port of
your laptop.
5. Start the calibration application.
6. Enter the IP address of primary XT Codec Unit.
If you do not remember the IP address of the primary XT Codec Unit, press Help
Advanced XT Remote Control Unit to display it on the primary monitor.
7. Select Connect to the XT Scopia Telepresence.
8. Enter the Avaya Collaboration Control password and select OK.
