Testing prior to commissioning the pump
User qualification: Technical personnel and service - see

The following checks are to be carried out:
Ensure that the pump has not been damaged during transportation or
n
storage. Immediately report any damage to the supplier
Ensure that the hose is suitable for the fluid to be conveyed and that it
n
is not damaged
Make sure that the temperature of the liquid does not exceed 60 °C
n
Only switch on the pump if the front cover has been properly attached
n
Check whether the right number of spacer plates have been fitted -
n
Check that the rollers are correctly fitted and fastened
n
Check that the hose and rollers are sufficiently lubricated
n
Check whether the direction of rotation is correctly adjusted
n
Install a manometer in the discharge line if the back pressure value is
n
unknown
Install a pressure relief valve in the discharge line to protect the pump
n
in the event that a valve is unintentionally closed or the line is blocked
in another way.
"Norprene" pump hose only: Check that the back pressure cannot
n
exceed 2 bar.
