Procedure
Lubrication point:
Contact areas between "PAPER GUIDE, REAR" and
"ROLLER, PF."
Lubricant type: G-26
Lubrication amount:
Apply to 1/2 the circumference while rotating the
shaft of the paper feed roller. Don't get any grease
on the powder-coated surface of the paper feed
roller.
Lubrication point:
"PAPER GUIDE, FRONT" (3 places)
Lubricant type: G-26
Lubrication amount:
2 mm (Eject Roller side)
10 mm (PF Roller side)
Don't get grease on the rubber rollers of the paper
eject roller.
Lubrication point:
Oil pad in the carriage assembly
Lubricant type: O-12
Lubrication amount: 0.72 to 0.77cc (0.65 to 0.69g)
(This is the amount to be applied to a new oil pad.)
Use a syringe to apply the correct amount of oil. If
you accidentally apply too much oil to the pad,
throw the pad away and start over with a new one.
Wait about one minute until the oil is evenly
absorbed before installing it on the carriage
assembly.
Lubrication point:
Shaft for "FRAME, LEFT"
Lubricant type: G-26
Lubrication amount: 5 mm
