Do not touch the rubber seal on the cap assembly.
C A U T I O N
"
When replacing the printhead cleaner blade in the pump
assembly, follow these precautions:
" Do not touch the printhead cleaner blade with your
bare hands; wear gloves or use tweezers.
" Do not get oil or grease on the printhead cleaner
blade.
" When installing the printhead cleaner blade, place it
so the rubber side faces the right side of the printer.
" After installing the pump assembly, make sure the
cleaner blade moves back and forth freely.
NOTE: The components of the pump assembly are not supplied
individually. Replace the whole pump assembly, if
necessary.

When assembling the cap assembly, make sure to install the
ink absorption pad correctly, as shown in Figure 4-20.

When installing the ink tube in the pump, avoid twisting
the tube. Use the line marked along the tube as a guide.
Also, to avoid creasing or over-stretching the tube,
position its marking line as shown below.
