Load/Eject Resets the following:
• Interface selection (04H)
• Power-off timer (6CH, 6DH)
Cleaning Resets the waste ink counter:
(Hold for 10 seconds) • Ink counter A0 (50H, 5DH)
• Ink counter A80 (5EH, 5FH)

1.2.5 Printer Initialization

You can initialize the printer from the control panel using the following
methods:
! Power-on initialization
Turning on the printer performs the following operations:
(a) Initializes the printer mechanism
(b) Clears the input data buffer
(c) Clears the print buffer
(d) Sets default values
! Panel initialization
Panel initialization is performed by turning the printer off and then
back on within 10 seconds. It accomplishes the following:
(a) Caps the printhead
(b) Ejects paper
(c) Clears the input data buffer
(d) Clears the print buffer
(e) Sets default values
