4.2 Reinstallation of accumulator

1. Separate the middle and front cover from the bottom one (chapter 4.1)
2. Release the screws holding the accumulator in place.
3. Make sure that the external power supply is not connected.
4. Unplug the damaged accumulator from the BATT connector.
5. Place the new accumulator into the reserved space on the bottom cover.
6. Solder the accumulator connector — watch the polarity — red wire (+) to + accumulator pin, black
one (−) to the − accumulator pin.
7. Plug the whole into the BATT
connector.
8. Fasten tightly the accumula-
tor holder. Make sure that
the accumulator is holds
tightly in place and doesn't
move.
9. Assemble the front and
middle cover back onto the
bottom cover.
Internal accumulator care notices
• full charging lasts approx.
four or five hours,
• at the beginning of service,
it is recommended to charge
the accumulator to 100 %
and discharge it by continu-
ous use until it signals low
power. Repeat this process
at least three times (this pro-
longs the accumulator life),
• if the suspiciously
shortening of the accumu-
lator life cycle appears, e.
g. by shortening the work-
ing time to one charging,
consider the accumulator
replacement.
• charging the accumulator is
performed always with the
external power supply con-
nected.

4.3 Printer reinstallation

Caution: The printer shall be replaced only when ECR is off and the external power adapter is disconnected.
1. Turn the ECR off and separate the display visor.
2. Take out the customer display.
3. Unplug all the printer cables and external sensor cable from the Interconnect PCB.
