2.1.2. Replacing the cash register modules
Before swapping out a cash register module, it is necessary to do the following:
1. Switch off the cash register
2. Disconnect the power adapter
3. Disconnect the accumulator
4. Disconnect all cables from external cash register interfaces.
2.1.2.1. Replacing the accumulator
1. Loosen the accumulator-cover screw, remove the accumulator and disconnect it from the motherboard.
2. Connect the new accumulator to the connector on the MB, then place it into the bottom casing of the cash register.
3. Insert the accumulator cover and tighten the screw.
2.1.2.2. Replacing the power supply board - DPS E50 PWR
1. Disassemble the cash register as directed in the previous chapter.
2. Disconnect the cables connecting the power supply board and the motherboard and the printer's ground wire.
3. Loosen the screw holding the DPS in the bottom part of the casing.
4. Remove the DPS, replace it with a new one, then attach it with the screws.
5. Connect the cables and reassemble the cash register.
