Service manual
– check the connexion
– check the proper position of the head lifting mecha-
nism
– use the multi-meter to measure the HS voltage value
(head up state is approx. 0 V, normal state is approx.
5 V provided VCC1 power supply is functioning
– check the VCC1 power supply voltage
– check, event. replace R53
– replace the printer
– check the connexion
– use the multi-meter to measure the TS signal voltage
(at room temperature its value is approx. 2 V pro-
vided VCC1 is functioning; signal voltage decreases
with raising environment temperature)
– check, event. replace R37
the PR&DISP1 connector on the main PCB and the
connecting cable integrity as well
ging of the customer display connector and check
the connecting cable integrity
– replace the entire module for customer or cashier
display
– check the ECR according to chapters 6.1 and 6.2
– replace the silicon padding
– replace the entire keyboard, best also replace the
silicon padding
– inspect thoroughly, event. replace the connecting
cable
– replace diodes D1 – D8 and U1 circuit, event. replace
the entire keyboard PCB
– inspect thoroughly, event. replace the connecting
cable
– replace the entire module
– replace U20 circuit
– turn to chapter 6.1
