4 Reinstallation of individual modules

Some things that need be done prior the module and accessory installation:
• If you reinstall any module or ECR accessory that was already in use, it is recommended to ensure that
all the sales are finished and perform the Z reports. If the installation fails, the sale data can be lost.
• If the ECR state allows, print the basic settings for the ECR or transfer them to the PC. The data transfer
to the PC can be done using the Eurosoft software.
• Make sure that the ECR is off and the external power adapter is disconnected.

4.1 ECR disassembly

Caution: ECR shall be disassembled only when the ECR is off and external power supply is disconnected.
1. Pull the rear cover backward using the side handles.
2. Get the middle cover either by the visor at the paper tape holes or by side handles and pull the
cover out.
3. Separate the display visor from the middle cover. Remove the smelting mass and press the flex-
ible grips from the side where paper tapes are fitted and simultaneously pull the visor apart from
the middle cover.
4. Gently pry out four keys from the keyboard.
5. Release the middle screw and the four screws of the front cover underneath the pried keys.
6. Separate the front cover slightly.
7. Unplug all the cables from the bottom cover.
8. Pull apart the front cover completely.
