1. Lifting Slings

Tie Down

(See Figure 4-10.)
WHEN TRANSPORTING MACHINE, BOOM MUST BE FULLY LOWERED INTO
THE BOOM REST.
• Travel up ramps with platform behind machine.
• Do not contact ground with jib or bottom of platform
when loading/unloading. Operate machine from
ground using the platform controls detached from plat-
form box. Raise jib to prevent contact with the ground.
See "Jib Position for Traveling" on page 4-8.
• ALWAYS load/unload the machine with track fully
extended.
1. Place booms in the stowed position.
2. Remove all loose items from machine.
3. Secure chassis using straps or chains of adequate
strength.
DO NOT MAKE CONNECTIONS AT POINTS DIFFERENT THAN THOSE IDENTI-
FIED BY THE TIE DOWN LOCATION DECAL SHOWN. THIS COULD CAUSE PER-
MANENT DAMAGE RESULTING IN COLLAPSE OF THE PRODUCT.
