    This section provides the necessary information needed to under- stand control function and operation. MACHINE DESCRIPTION The JLG LiftPod is a battery powered portable personnel platform. The platform is mounted to a mast and elevating carriage mecha- nism. The personnel lift's intended purpose is to provide person- nel access to areas above level ground.
