Ableton Live Settings
Before mixing with the plugin, the following options should be enabled for Ableton Live. Set the SSL Delta Control plugin as a
'favourite' by opening your VST3 directory:
Mac: Library/Audio/plugins/VST3/
Windows: C:\Program Files\Steinberg\Vstplugins\

Create a New Folder next to the VST folder, and name it (eg. 'My Favouite
VST's). Command-alt drag (Mac) or alt-drag (PC) the SSL Delta Control
plugin from the VST folder to this new folder. This will create an alias/
shortcut for the SSL Delta Control plugin.

Reload Ableton Live and go to the Live menu > Preferences >File/
Folder. Next to 'VST plugin Custom Folder' click the 'Browse'
option and double-click on the newly created 'My Favourite VST's'
folder containing the alias.

Set 'Use VST Plugin Custom Folder' to 'On'. When inserting a plugin on
a track, the 'Favourite Plugins' folder will appear in the Ableton plugins
directory; therefore, the SSL Delta Control plugin will be quicker to add
to your session (particularly when using the Single-Fader plugin).

Please note that due to the control parameters set by Logic Pro, Logic Pro users can only use the 16-Fader plugin

Single-Fader Plugin Workflow
This example describes setting up all 16 channels of Matrix for automation using the Single-Fader plugin - it is possible to add
individual plugins and assign them to individual Matrix channels during the mixing process.

Insert 16 Single-Fader SSL Delta Control plugins onto any tracks.

Open the SSL Delta Control plugin that is going to be assigned to channel 1. Set the Console Type to MATRIX,
'SRWSPI 3FNIGX XS CHAN ERH 'SRWSPI 3FNIGX 2YQFIV XS 1 'XVPGPMGO SR XLI 'SRWSPI 3FNIGX 2YQFIV 1) to use
the auto-increment feature – the number will now be greyed out. This feature can be disabled by a second Ctrl-click

Caution: Do not alt-drag (copy) Delta plugins or duplicate tracks that already have Delta plugins that have
been assigned to Matrix channels as this will cause Delta Control to stop working. Copying plugins and
duplicating tracks with Delta plugins inserted must only be done if the plugins are not yet assigned to a
channel on the console.
