Call Server faults (Part 4 of 5)
Condition
Possible cause

Turn off the power switch at the rear of the Call Server
and remove the power cord. Loosen the locking screw
at the front of the module, then unseat and reseat the
module firmly. Tighten the locking screw and replace
the power cord. Turn on the power switch and observe if
failure has cleared.
If the fault continues, replace the power supply module.
Note: When in shutdown mode, the power supply
continues to power the LEDs on the alarm/fan module
that indicate a power supply failure.
Turn the power switch on.
Check the power cable connection to the power supply
module. Ensure that it is firmly connected.
If the cable is connected, check the power cable
connection to the other Call Server.
If all power cables are firmly connected, go to the next
possible cause.
Replace power cable.
