3.7 Operation Flow

This system provides the following two operating modes. The relationship between the basic behaviors are
shown in Figure 3-27.
Manual Mode This mode is basically used for debugging. In this mode, you need to enter commands and
select buttons to perform various operations, such as selecting an inspection data, performing
inspections, or scanning an image. The system software initially starts up in manual mode.
Auto Mode
A series of processes to inspect a number of PCBs. A series of processes including scanning
images, inspecting, and starting the Checking False Positive window are performed automatically
in a single operation. In contrast to inline machines, in benchtop machine inspection requires
user intervention in manual operations, such as loading or unloading PCBs.

The operations all first start with selecting each mode based on Manual Mode(refer to Figure 3-27 Diagram
of the System Basic Behaviors).
Manual Mode and Auto Mode can be switched by pressing Auto or Stop from the menu-bar.
User can select an inspection data and configure the detail setting of the various system in Manual Mode.
Also editing an inspection data is basically done in Manual Mode. Depending on the setting, user can edit
an inspection data in either Auto Mode. All the setting files will have to be saved manually on the system.
